1 cup sifted Cake Flour = 1 cup sifted All Purpose Flour, minus 2 Tblsp

1 cup Self-rising Flour = 1 cup All Purpose Flour plus 1 tsp. Baking Powder and 1/2 tsp Salt

1 tsp Baking Powder = 1/2 tsp Cream of Tartar plus 1/4 tsp Baking Soda

1 Tblsp Cornstarch = 2 Tblsp All Purpose Flour

1 Tblsp Granular Tapioca = 1 Tblsp All Purpose Flour

1 cup Light Corn Syrup = 1 cup Sugar plus 1/4 cup Water

1 cup Molasses = 1 cup Honey

1 cup Honey = 1 1/4 cups Sugar plus 1/4 cup Water

1 cup Milk = 1/2 cup Evaporated Milk plus 1/2 cup Water

1 cup Buttermilk = 1 Tblsp Lemon Juice or Vinegar plus enough Milk to measure 1 cup, ** Let stand 5 min before using!!!

1 cup Yogurt = 1 cup Buttermilk

1 Tblsp Fruit Liqueur = 1 Tblsp Fruit Juice

1 tsp Allspice = 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon plus 1/2 tsp Ground Cloves

1 tsp Apple Pie Spice = 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon plus 1/4 tsp Ground Nutmeg plus 1/8 tsp Ground Cardamom plus 1/8 tsp Ground Cloves or Ginger

1 tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice = 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon plus 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger plus 1/8 tsp Allspice plus 1/8 tsp Ground Nutmeg

1 tsp Grated Ginger root = 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger

1 inch piece Vanilla Bean = 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 square (1oz) Chocolate = 3 Tblsp Cocoa Powder plus 1 Tblsp Shortening

1 tsp Oregano = 1 tsp Marjoram

10 oz package Frozen Strawberries = 1 cup Fresh, sliced Strawberries plus 1/3 cup Sugar

1 cup Raisins = 1 cup dried, chopped Prunes
